Chiclana
de la Frontera offers the visitor a lots of possibilities
for the whole family.
Water
sport, sailing and surfing, deep-sea fishing, boat-trips
to watch the dolphins are the maritime recreation
possibilities.
These
activities offers for example, the worth seeing sport
harbour "El Puerto Deportivo de Sancti Petri".
There you can see also the fortress-castle "Castillo
de Sancti Petri", which played an important rule
in the Independance War.
La Barrosa, with 7km one of the longest beaches of
this province (from Sancti Petri to Torre del Puerco),
will be watched by the rescue-service during the summer
time, and is an ideal place for families with children.
Chiclana
is also known because of its Salt Marshes, Las SALINAS,
which are open for schools and tourists, to show the
importance and to obtain the value of this natural
heritage.

Chiclana
has a good infrastructure: There is the big market (Mercado
Municipal), where you can buy fresh fish, meat, fruit,
vegetables and other things; also big supermarkets and
medical health-centres, which are prepared for tourists.
Beside Spanish they speak often English, and sometimes
also German.
You
can spend the nights in one of the approx. 12.000 rooms
of the small boarding-houses (Hostals) and luxury hotels.
Tapas-Bars,
Original Chiclana-Bodegas, good plain cooking to luxury
Restaurants with their specialities are waiting for
you.

Horse-riding
through the pine-groves, rent a Quad, play tennis
or golf in the large golf-course of Novo Sancti Petri,
enjoy the beaches and the sea, have fun on the yearly
summer- "Feria", go shopping in the small
and big shops and drink a cop of coffee or tea ...
so many things are possible here.
In
general one set store by a quality-turism throughout
the year.
Some of the Hostals and Hotels are open also during
the winter months.
